Welcome to the Best of Central Michigan 2011 Readers’ Choice Awards

For the 11th consecutive year, CM LIFE readers have the opportunity to vote for their favorite places, people and things in the Central Michigan area. Plus, you can win cash for your votes! For completing your print and online ballots, readers will be entered into a drawing to win $100, $75 and $50.*

This year there are 3 ways to vote:

1. Print ballots in CM LIFE. A survey will appear in Central Michigan Life throughout the month of April 2011. Readers had until May 6, 2011 to cast their votes. Only one entry per person is permitted and no photocopies or facsimiles will be accepted.

2. Online ballots at CM-LIFE.COM. Our online ballot will be available beginning MARCH 28. You can vote through midnight on May 6, 2011. The online ballots can be revisited if you are interrupted, or want to change a vote in a category.

3. Social media ballots at www.facebook.com/cmlife. Go to our PHOTOS section to vote. Our Facebook ballots will include the 25 most popular categories from 2010. Each category will feature the top 5 vote-getters. Readers can choose their favorites with their “like” button. Readers can also add entries into the categories if they have a favorite business they want to generate votes for. Voting will close on midnight May 6, 2011. Screen shots will be done for each entry in each category at that time.

Votes from all print and electronic ballots will then be tabulated over the summer. The top vote-getters in each category will be featured in a special edition in September 2011, and here at bestofcentralmichigan.com
